The consciousness

The Consciousness

Again before writing something about the complex terms in philosophy, I would like to say that whatever I am writing is as per my simple understanding level. I tend to write with simple examples, stories to enable myself understand.

Before going towards the discussion about the pure consciousness one must discuss the consciousness. The consciousness is something related to the awareness in the Self which is totally different from self awareness. This awareness in the self can't be attained by reading books, getting good degrees from grand universities or even if ......, if I am not mistaken, from any Guru (The Spiritual Teacher). For getting that, one must be aware of her/his own actions right from the mind to physic. One must always be able to analyse rationally her/his own Self. If we will be conscious in the Self and not the self conscious then I think that will be a pretty good stage to understand the meaning of the consciousness.

I am now conscious of myself writing this comment. I have also rationally analysed all the reasons why I am writing this comment. I think I am beginning to know the meaning of The Consciousness.

If so, then you are already have that so you will be the best person who will be able to tell the meaning of 'Pure Consciousness' as you are looking towards that and not the person (like me) who is already feeling very conscious about her whole blog after reading this comment...

In My Humble Opinion, The importance of Guru cannot be undermined. Swami Vivekananda and Sri Ramakrishna are an excellent example of a Shishya (disciple) and Guru. Sri ramakrishna himself has quite a few Guru's when he practiced different religions and found that all of them are but different paths to the God. Lord Sri Krishna himself studied under Maharshi Sandeepani. The Guru is God Himself manifesting in a personal form to guide the aspirant.
Guruh Saakshaat Parabrahma, Tasmai Sri Gurave Namaha.

Yes! I totally agree with you. But my intention to write "......, if I am not mistaken, from any Guru (The Spiritual Teacher)" this was to point out towards the perception of common people who think that ones you start going to a Guru, everything is over .....I mean to say, I have seen people who religiously go to Guru but really don't follow the teaching (about being conscious in the self). They think that going to a Guru is itself a spiritual act, and thus are always kept away by real spirituality and consciousness.

I am not intended to deny Guru's role in the spiritual development.
But I am sure that Guru is just a support for that development, unless the person become really conscious in the self one cann't be spiritual.
