The Dilemma In a Terrorist

In Feb 2005, I watched a Tamil film in my college, named The Terrorist. The film was regarding a 19 years old girl, Malli. She was a trained killer and involved in the assassination of Indian prime minister Rajiv Ghandi.
Film begins with the killing of a person by Malli and police firing scene and showing the courage of Malli. Then the film develops on the grounds of showing some common life of the terrorist community and how the training goes. Malli was chosen for the assassination of VIP by the supreme of the terrorist organisation. Malli was pleased to be chosen for the task as she remembers her father's and brother's sacrifice for the motherland and becomes ready for the task.
Meanwhile one fine night, when police firing was going on, she saves a wounded young man from police firing and got involved emotionally. The very next day, when she goes to seek some help for the wounded person, she finds him caught by police and sees that he takes a tablet of synide to save himself from police.
The first time in her life she realised the emotional part of her life and she had to sacrifice that. She was sent to India through jungles to accomplish the task. It is shown that slowly slowly she realizes the enjoyment in life apart from terrorism, to which she never came across before. Meanwhile she realises that she is pregnant and feels happy. But to accomplish the task she had to sacrifice her unborn baby. The dilemma she had to face between her life and death was beautifully covered. In a way it was the death of her emotional life as well.
It was a hard movie to be accepted. Such kind of dilemma can be experienced by anybody who is shown a specific goal since childhood and is not given/got much exposure about life's different dimensions which are equally important. It might not be necessarily related to a terrorists life or a woman's life who is not able to give birth to her baby. For such dilemmas people need not be a terrorist. At one point of life such people might face such a dilemma between their trained/ restricted life and normal flowing life. Life must be like a flowing river which (overcomes) washes away all the obstacles and dilemmas in the way and could be able to live to the fullest.
